Thanks for all the responses, as a cancer survivor i felt that it was my duty to help other people out and put my rig to good use so when I found out about this i started crunching on the spot, so when i'm not home or i'm doing something else i just use my main rig to crunch:
C2D E6600 @2.65(my MB is GAY), 3 Gigs of Corsair DDR2 667, 150Gig Raptor, & an eVGA 8800 GTS 640.
I'll be moving to a new MM case and a crossfire setup soon, plus i have a MM Ascension build planned for next year. Happy Crunching to ALL!

Just added a s939 4200+ X2, should help a little bit. At least the system will be doing something useful rather than being replaced by a $1000 mac mini... and all that happened was the windows install got corrupted and needed a nice fresh one. Its amazing what people do to old christmas presents...
Not much to say right now.
It all helps and those X2's are still decent cpu's..

Great advice but something went terribly wrong. I logged into newegg to suspend my account and ended up with a $2000 credit line insteadSome cheap advice.

Think I can even crank it up some more.. won't run 24/7 any more though, not during summer. Plus, the whole machine eats 500W+ which is not really sustainable, even though the PPD output is rather high.
Now if I could jut find some of those at the landfill ...

Actually its not running quite yet, I somehow got the wrong driver for it even though I looked at the different revisions for it to get the driver. Might as well just get another cheap new one cause they'll always come in handy.
