i don't have the time now to test it for more speed like 8.0 multiplier and tigher timings. but its on my mind. when i find some time be sure i'll test it more.

Since we own similar systems (QX9650, 4GB RAM and this mobo), I suggest the following:

multiplier 8.0
strap 333
fsb 450
pcie 105
CR 1N
Ram 1801
Ram timings 7-7-7-18
Static Read and Dynamic Write both Disabled
All voltage to AUTO except VDimm set to 2.02
LLC Normal
Both Spectrums Disabled.

All others set to AUTO.

Also, C1E Support and Vanderpool Technology, both Disabled.

I've tried these settings tonight and had 32M super_pi_mod-1.5 passed OK, and OCCT 1hour test STABLE !!!

I've also tried 3D games (the 3DMark06 "Return to Proxycon" burntest, and Mass Effect for an hour or so, both with no errors or glitches).

I believe too that ASUS Bios v. 505 is so far "jackpot" even for auto settings overclocking...
