    Is this for real?

Very impressive NewBeetle, how far can you overclock a Dell?

    Great job NewBeetle-san!

If I might make a suggestion...see if you can try an nVidia 9800GX2. In single card it's stronger than a 3870X2 in all benchmarks.

my board doesn't turn on properly even with cleared cmos and there is no chance i can even OC with GX2 installed
    very disappointed atm

i was testing RAM efficiency and this board is super fast

    i did a 12m flat time at 3627MHz EEEEEEK

    Impressive results Mitsuaki-san !

I am stuck at about 600 MHz FSB, because of my weak CPU, but I was able to run very high memory speeds with eh Tpower I45. Did you do any memory testing with your setup? With your high FSB, there is probably no need to test max mem speed using dividers, hehe

    Thank you, TheKarmakazi-san.
I had a quick test of ASUS P5Q-E.
It works well with 3870's in CF.
Therefore, the test of 4870's CF will become a little more previously.

    Thank you, SF3D-san.
But I have not got 4870s yet in Japan....
Please wait my 4870 CF runs for a while.

if you don't mind i would like to suggest that you try to boot at 600MHz FSB instead of 570
i found that when i boot at 590(haven't tried 570) my superpi is VERY slow...........but when i boot at 600 it's VERY fast

    strange but it works heh

maybe you will be the first man to go below 1m 40s
that CPU is awesome...... 5.9Ghz with 1.85v is really special ....special CPU and special OCer is pure nerd sex on the beach
Thank you so much for your advice, dinos22-san.
And your 32M run @ 3.6G is very fantastic!
    I will challenge below 1m 40s run of SPi-8M.

    I love a Dell, too.
If you send it to me, I will overclock it to the moon.

It seems that current Biostar P45's BIOS has PCI-E compatibility problems.
I hope new BIOS can work well with Dual GPU system.

I tested MAX memory speed @ 2:3 dividers.
    I can run Spi-1M @ 709.9MHz.
    CPU-Z Validation is 724.9MHz.
Biostar P45 mobo is very high memory speed!

your notes helped me gain extra FSB thank you
with 570 boot and pmem tweaks it's very fast but i get to run at higher FSB than 600boot

    below 1m40s will be amazing
i hope you will also challenge 32M W.R. soon but maybe that CPU will also go to 6GHz

    My E8500 has the possiblity 32M benching @ 6G.
But pmem tweaks is very difficult for me.
I will need much time to take new WR.

wow dude i can't wait to see that
this board is around efficiency of DDR3 boards pretty much....at least all the W.R. holders

the fact you are benchmarking and at such speed we will see first sub 8m time for sure

    go go go NB-san

Great stuff as usual! Nice to see the 2 8x PCI-E lanes aren't hurting.

I'm also glad I'm not the only one seeing "Disabled (Crossfire Available)" in GPU-Z despite the fact Crossfire is obviously working. I'm seeing the same thing with my 4850s. Not a big deal but kind of irritating.

Today, I tested "P965 Strap Tweker" under LN2 Pi Bench.
I take new WR to me (maybe).....

Perhaps, I take new modPi 8M WR by this E8500 and mobo.

    modPi 8M is OK.
    But 32M is N.G.
My Team memory is almost breaking because it was overworked too much.

    I'm very sorry, FUGGER-san.
I cannot show you any 3D at that speed.....

Today my system has some troubles.
    I can run only 5.85G 3D Bench....
Next I will challenge over 6GHz 3D bench.
