    Thank you so much, k|ngp|n-san.
I tried the X2's but it didn't work...
It seems this mobo has PCI-E compatiblity problems in current BIOS.
I expect new 4870 CrossFire system.

1M time is as fast as ASUS P965 mobos.
But 8M is bit slower by my poor tweak...

    modPI 1M : 7.718s @6032.9MHz (FSB635.0MHz x 9.5)

    modPI 8M : 1m47.687s @5890.0MHz (FSB620.0MHz x 9.5)

    CPU-Z Validation : 6128.14MHz

    What about Performance Level?
You pushed it 1:1 so PL probably was high?
    Yes,Performance Level is very high.
    It's "9".

I think that this P45 mobo is more suitable for 3D bench than pi bench.

Very nice Results on that cheap Motherbaord !

but why did you do vcore mod ? There is no OPV like Tpower I45, you can do +2v under windows without , and use the biostar software to change vcore by 0.01v under windows.

Then I decided to change only P45 mobo but not to change GPUs....

Thank you for your information, Pt1t-san.
I decided to buy this Biostar board when I saw your fantastic results.

But my Bio board cannot work this vcore tweaker.
And I just love vcore mod very much.

wow i didn't see this thread

    amazing
and you also say you were running PL9
that's very nice ...youngpro and i have been stuck with PL10 past 600 probably because of CAS5 clocks

i'll try some CAS4 clocks and some better cooling on NB

    wonderful CPU as well

one question....your 8M there is a little slow....have you tried to tweak it some more....it should be in low 1m 4xs ...i know that you have a 1m 42s time with P5B DLX

I can send you more 4870s if you want. I don't know why I received a lot of 4870s when I am in Taiwan now.

My 8M run is very slow because I have no special tweaks.
I hear Biostar P45 mobo can run faster with Strap tweaks.
    Next I will try it.

Thank you so much for your kindness, AndreYang-san.
This weekend I will be able to get two 4870s.
But I may not buy them if I can run 3870X2s CFX system with new P45 motherboard.

oh i see...that explains things better

if you don't mind i would like to suggest that you try to boot at 600MHz FSB instead of 570
i found that when i boot at 590(haven't tried 570) my superpi is VERY slow...........but when i boot at 600 it's VERY fast

    strange but it works heh

maybe you will be the first man to go below 1m 40s
that CPU is awesome...... 5.9Ghz with 1.85v is really special ....special CPU and special OCer is pure nerd sex on the beach
