I fixed that, then when I turned it back on, I kept getting CPU INIT, followed by CODE INIT, though all the fans were running. Therefore, I could not get anything on my monitor, and I could not get to the BIOS. For reference, my frontboard IEEE port is not plugged in, and neither are the audio ports on front, because the IEEE cord cannot reach the IEEE port because of the GTX280, and my audio card has no front loading audio ports that I see.

Any suggestions?
Try clearing the CMOS. If not, then remove the battery for 30 mins and then try booting. If it doesnt work, try booting with 1 stick of RAM, if that doesnt work, put it in the last RAM slot.

Hope that helps

Could it be my RAM? Maybe trying a different brand might get me further?
Try lowering the RAM to 1600Mhz and put 1.38v for the NB and see if that helps.

If still getting errors, then test each stick of ram by itself, you might have a defective stick.
