Yeah, right, Nvidia plans on giving the 9800gtx a 30% performance boost to keep with the 4870 just through better drivers. That just doesn't happen, at the VERY BEST, expect 10-15%, but most likely I predict around 5%. Unless if NVIDIA has been sandbagging this whole time (which I do not think they were, anyone recall the 8800ultra's launch price? They're out to make money and would have done this months ago if they could to higher price their cards), I don't think you'll see a "severe" performance increase.
