love seeing cool res / t-line / feeder ideas.
keep it coming

Evil,
Ive been thinking along similar lines to your build and its given my heaps of ideas, Im not normally one for external rads either, but i think its coming along nicely regardless!
there is clear tubing out there with inbuild metal coils, it may help, but be warned its highly strung so when its bent tight it has ALOT of pressure on it, also its hard to cut.... and hard to slip onto barbs because the tubing has little give has the coils prevent it. I hope this helps you out mate.
as for the idea with the micro res.... I LOVE IT! cant wait to see the pics, as I have a micro laying around somewhere in my room (have to find it) and im thinking now that ive seen u get a D5 in there, maybe i should keep my DB-1 for something else and use my spare D5.
anyway love the work, keep the logs and pics coming mate
Regards Gaz

WOW!!! man this is looking nice and evil, evil.![]()
keep up the good work mang!!
One thing I'd like to point out to you. Your GTX will only be sucking in the hot air from the radiator, which will result in your GTX getting very hot, which will also result in giving off a lot of heat in the case + the heat from the radiator, which will result in a hot case, which will result in hot hardware, which will result in high temps.![]()

Science lesson for the day!!!!
JK lol, you should be fine, my only concern would be the video card, maybe try something else?
Edit:
Whoa, I just got a better idea!!! Get an Accelero S1 cooler and run it without a fan on it, the fans from the radiator will be cooling it!
Also, I'd consider a different video card? G92 maybe?
Edit 2:
OR
You could get an HD3870X2 and buy my waterblock for sale (see sig) and watercool it too!!!![]()
I'm sure your rad will handle it.

haha, thanks
as for the vid card, i know its going to be sucking up some nice warm air
but im sure its going to be ok, as for the 3870x2 its too long, going to run
right into my D5 which the GTX barely clearsi think im going to just
pick up a mcw60, unless i can find a sponsor. good luck with selling the
block though, im sure someone needs one around here
i was thinking about air cooling it but i think it would look funny from the window. id like to water cool the gpu but im low on funds (kanye west
concert tomorrow)
im going to be prepping the body for paint in a few days, and ill be in the
booth next weekend, i thinking of a pearl white and a metallic blackif
they got the paint that is... if not ill get it myselfand if i cant do
that, then... just white and black lol
hows your project going?
pics in 10
Ahhh, yea thats right the X2 is extremely long.... I'm actually looking at one on my rig right now....oh, oops. Wasn't sposed to say anything.... shhhhhhhhhhh...
From one end of the PCB to the other its 9 5/8in. long.
How long is the GTX?
Have fun at the concert!!
My builds going ok, haven't done much, been really busy, but things are slowing down....
I got a replacement corsair 650w PSU yesterday, went and picked it up from Corsair actually. Pretty cool place.
Keep up the good work mate!
Oh, and for the GTX, I'd get a full cover block instead of MCW60, it will look much nicer if you ask me....![]()

evil nice project bro, but some advice,
You NEED TO SEAL COPPER 90's when used as a OUTLET.
2 things can happen, it can pull air in because there is no lock on copper 90's. Its smooth.
Another problem is at the inlet. IF you provide enough pressure, that 90 will slip off over time.

Heres a member i warned the same thing about. And look what happened.
Heres how i did mine, just use silicon and seal the edges. Its messy but it works.

i take that back, they look to be the same size
so youve got a new rig aye? sounds. fun pics or ban...
the concert is going to be awesome.
as for the full cover, yes it would look nicer, but im thinking
of the future if i ever choose to change it out i dont want
to have that be soo proprietary even though the 8800GTX is
still a great card

As i said you did such great work, id hate to see you run into an accident. Expecially in a SFF.

You can try worm gear clamps on the copper elbows. A slight problem can arise near the video card and can be easily solved by putting a piece of plastic between the video card and the clamp.

its been a while and heres the update. everything is up and running, nothing is final
just needed to test the hardware. very surprised at the Q9450 and the P5E-VM HDMI
i cant imagine a better matx, so far ive gotten it to boot at 475, i think i can go over
500, i need to pick up some pencils, for vdroop mod, but so far i think im probably max
at fsb. what sucks is i have 1 stuck sensor which doesnt read temp, and bugs me b/c
i cant really test my quad nozzle... im going to reseat the cpu and block but so far the
only thing im not liking is the stuck sensor, extremely warm mobo temps (before i strapped
on the 2x 92mm) and not being able to install the supreme fx II, it keeps telling me the
hardware is not compatible with the drivers, im taking the drivers off my striker II disk
and disabling onboard sound. it gives me some error message ill screen shot when i get
home. but so far so good. i recieved my EK top for the SB so the wrecker is back as a
priority, at least i have a computer at home now that functions. thanks for stopping by
enjoy

ur micro res should b there early next week, can't wait to see what you can do with that
nice choice of hardware parts
looking good man
just one thing, you might have a hard time filling up with the inlet to the pump being set up like that, I've had set up my Laing D5 like that and the coming back from the loop wouldn't return back into the inlet of the pump.
but let us know how you go![]()
