It may or may not work well.

Officially they do NOT support the 9850 on the DS5. Some people have no problems. Other people can't run it even with stock settings. (If it was stable... I could get about 2.9Ghz out it easily.)

I'll probably be ordering a new board very soon; probably an NVidia 780A. (And throwing this $180.00 pile of stuff into my junk box... to be used someday if I decide to build a server.)

But hey... apparently they'll be supporting the 9950... so you could just wait! (If you actually trust them...)
