Yeah if you are going to do it, do it right and not with a dremelWell, theoretically, if this were only going on a DUAL core, or a SINGLE die, the dimensions could be much smaller and would likely yield better results. For a single slug you could go 15mm x 15mm or so, this of course would apply more pressure to where it is needed. If you removed the IHS of a quad core cpu, the area that the 2 slugs occupy is 23mm x 14mm however I don't think a rectangular step would be ideal. If iandh could round the corners off a bit that would be great because if they are square, they are pretty sharp and mark up the ihs.
