I know it isn't the chip the chip is more then happy to go there. They need to fix the straps to. I can't get the 2.4b strap happy with performance level 6 for . The 2.66d strap will go there happily and it doesn't like anything else but the 6. I'm probably going to get an Asus motherboard next time if they don't come out with a solid bios soon.
Well I changed to DDR3 and Asus Maximus Extreme from my X38 DQ6 and the q9450 is having a hard time there as well ,so dont feel so hard done by.
