    Repost... and I would like to say something that I've always said from the very beginning: It's not an FSB wall, and it's got nothing to do with VTT and MCH volts, either. Seems like something else is at work, and so far, the best bet is to get an ASUS P5E-VM HDMI and build yourself a lanbox or so. Others have speculated BIOS, and I'm starting to feel that that's the case as well, seeing as to how setting the FSB strap to 266 on some boards will let you go higher.



    But the P5E-VM HDMI can already do beyond 500MHz with no modification at all. You don't even need to update the BIOS.
