    1. Have you tried it with a regular Monitor
    2. Is your Video Card capable of perform HDMI function ie HD 720p/1080, is your 32" screen HD? (Grasping at straws here)
    3. Do you have another Video Card to try with the regular Monitor.
    4. Is your Memory working?
    5. PSU up to snuff.
    6. All the plugs plugged tightly.

    S3 Sleep Problem

My computer just does not get tired. It will not enter the S3 sleep mode. I have enabled 'S3' in 'Power Management' of the bios under 'ACPI Suspend.' and in Vista. The monitor screen goes black as it should but I can hear the computer fans still operating. Then I cannot get the screen back, no matter what I do. I have to hit the power button for a couple of seconds and turn it off and then restart.

    Any Ideas? Thanks

Need some advice on getting 600FSB with my E8400, what are the recommended settings to do it. Im on watercooling....temps are good.

And also Can someone please explain how i use the GTL settings and the DRAM settings (more aggressive settings underneath the 3 that can be set)

Along with how do the CLK settings work.

Much help would be appreciated. Was having a hard time trying to boot into window at 533 x 7.5 for 4ghz. I was getting a system32 error where it wants you to repair windows by inserting WinXP disk.

    Thanks guys

System specs on in my sig.

What kind of voltage are you throwing at the NB, and can your ram run at 1200?

For the GTL stuff, there is lots to read here: www.edgeofstability.com (it's not a simple explain sort of thing)

Anandtech did a great article on the DFI P35: http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=3129 (a lot of the information is for a quad, but it's still useful for just general board settings)

does this board support 45nm out of the box or would you need to use an older 775 chip to flash the bios first and then put the E8400 in? Was looking for this board for a friend but dont exactly have older 775 chips laying around.

Yes, you need to flash a 45nm support bios with a 65nm cpu inside and then it will work.

    What do you value as a high fsb? 400+, 450+, 500+, 550+?
Try the beta perhaps for that.

Some of the recent ones are shipping from the Egg with a bios that supports 45nm. I set one up last week out of the box with an 8400.

What few "UT" P35's that were left at NewEgg likely needed no bios flash to run wolfdale out of the box.

That however is unknown for the LP "LT" P35 T2R boards.
Back and forth from board to board it seems.

Tru dat. I love this board more than my Ultra-D, and that is saying allot. I watch so many people spending huge cash on X38/X48 and not using DDR3 or Crossfire and I wish I could help them see how good this board really is. IMHO the best DDR2 board out there period.

Nice clocks to zsamz Keep it up

Any word if there's going to be a DFI LP UT P45-T2R ? If so, sold. If not I'm going to try a Foxconn.

    According to this -

    http://www.benchtec.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=671

There will be DFI LP UT P45-T3R. Well, that's pretty cool too actually as I want to grab one of those new Mushkin DDR3 kits amd get familiar with DDR3. Either DFI LP UT P45-T3R or the Avenger sounds good to me.

    LP UT P45-T3R
Intel FSB1333 Core 2 Duo and Quad Core
    Intel P45 + ICH9R
    DDR3 support
    Solid Capacitors
    1 x16 or 2 x8 Gen2 +1 x4 Graphic Slots with Crossfire
1 x1 PCIE Slot and 3 PCI Slots
8 phase Digital PWM – Volterra
Heat Pipe set for CPU,PWM,NB and SB
JMB363 for 2 SATAII ports and 1 IDE port RAID
2 GbE LAN ports by Marvell 88E8052 + 8053 with teaming
ALC885 for 8 channels HD audio in Bernstein card
305*245mm 6 layers PCB in Black

    Mmmm tasty.

True. I think this board and it's bios have set some new standards. I'm itching to see what the P45s can really do.

Don't believe everything in print. There are no official specs for the DFI board published.
