    Hmm.. I used a few programs which detect sensors.
    Ones that used old sensors or buses were the ones to BSOD my system, but never kill.

    Anyone tried Intels Linux Power tool?
    I'm going to try it out next.

    Yes, physically core0 can never be disabled, everything uses it.
