A sidenote: I tried the downcore register and it worked. Above screenshot shows the settings i used to disable core 3 and 4. After a reboot (warmstart) I'm on a dualcore system now.
I think tictac mentioned it a few moth ago and KTE tried it on the MSI where it did not work.
