Not sure if someone mentioned it but the "newest' (1.4) BIOS regulates NB speed instead of HT,so setting "HT ratio" in bios, actually sets the NB speed, and HT stays at default, but can be changed in windows with AOD

Last but not least,all these RAID cards you talking about (Areca etc.) plug into
PCI slots right? Are there any PCIe cards that anyone has used? Cause PCI is
not the fastest part of any system, no matter how good the card is.(Brother )
