It's the effort, not the product, that counts.

I have had this PC together for a while, I haven't posted any pictures of it yet. I decided since I just got a Radeon 3870x2 that I should take some pictures. Sorry for the fingerprints and the slightly cloudy tubes(it has been running for 4 months without a flush/new tubing and its masterkleer). I also didn't dust it before the pictures as I am lazy today .

    P.S. I am not a photographer.

Knet I would get rid of those elbows. 90 degree elbows are HIGHLY restrictive and dramatically reduce flow through the loop.

2 X 45s would be better, but best would really be just the tube with a slight arc to it.

And you definitely have to throw away those UGLY smartcoils...why do people still use them, I really don't understand that.....just buy reasonable tygon? I use tygon for about 3,5 years now and never had any kink. and believe me, my previous loops were tight bended. just buy r3400 with thicker walls.

I've had Tygon flatten on me even on even on easy gentle curves...gave up on the stuff due to cost.

I use smartcoils because my tygon was starting to kink on the curves. I am probably going to remove it from the longer runs of tubing though, because I'm beginning to find it tacky.

nonsense, buy some 1/2 ID 3/4 OD uv resistant r3400 and I'll assure you it doenst kink.

All smaller sizes have thinner walls, I had 3/8 once, but that sucked ass with tight bends. And in some way the r3400 black uv-resistant tubes perform way better as the clear ones :S I've had all kinds of tubing and doing this for about 5 years so I know what I'm talking about

But If you don't mind how it looks, it doesn't matter offcourse

    System looks great btw!

how i wish i didnt needed the smartcoils. prob is, i got a 5/8 od and it kinks really really bad. especially the run on the cpu block to the single rad on the exhaust. man it kinks so bad i had to use smartcoils. but i totally agree smartcoils looks ugly..i may have to use 3/4od the next time i change tubes. for now, it does the trick.

Solution: un- and re-bent paperclips and matte-black heatshrink. Looks rather good actually, and certainly much less intrusive than smartcoils.

It's not black Tygon, it's black coolant. Look at the elbow fittings
