    didn't push Q807A091 , just tried 4 gh stable with 1.20v

ATM my Q746A534 is very satisfying , 4ghz stable orthos with 1.29v load ,with abilities to do 540 fsb max , booting under vista at 4.78 Ghz air cooling .

THe best is to come with next steppings , might also try a E8500

didn't try for my former Q807 but my Q746A534 does 540 max fsb air cooling on both asus P5KC and P5K premium black pearl .

expect more with other cooling than air I bet or with P965 mobos.

Awesome. Since the E3110 proc has a voltage range of 0.956-1.225V, and it looks like I need to go to 1.36v (in BIOS) to get to 4GHz, will that hurt or damage the proc?

    Got me a Q805A165 yesterday.
Not a great chip, but still managed to reach 4ghz, 1.328V with it.
Temps under load are high though, despite WC.

Well, I'm pretty discouraged. I chose the E3110 Q805A165 and the DFI DK P35 board because so many people were touting how easy it was to get to 4GHz. I have done the following:
    • 8 x 500FSB
    • 1:1 Memory
    • VCore over 1.4v (1.37v actual)
    • DRAM 2.11v
    • NB 1.55v
    • VTT 1.1v
    • GTL .67/.67/.67

At this point, I have added 250mV to VCore. After that, the additional voltages are in red and I am afraid to go there. Here I paid $140 for a DFI Lanparty DK board, and people are getting to 4GHz on $100 Gigabyte boards. What's worse, I have the Gigabyte DS3L board untouched, unopened in my office. I am staring at it now. I was talked out of a Gigabyte DS3R because the DFI is so much better.

Right now, I am just discouraged and disappointed.

A couple of things to try, raise your VTT to 1.3v, I wouldnt go over 1.4v on the VTT, I have seen some people say more than 1.4v on the VTT is killing 45nm chips, and adjust your GTL accordlingly, I leave my GTL on auto up to 450-475 FSB and I dont start running into issues untill 480 FSB with my DFI X38.

Change the strap and slow that FSB down a bit, I would try to get the CPU stable at 4Ghz with a lower FSB first and then shoot for max FSB, I am by no means an expert here and you may in fact know more about o/cing than I do but I konw these DFI boards have so many settings that they can be a PITA to get stable.

    Good Luck.
