Sadly I found out the local "enthusiast" store had them in stock on release day. If I'd have bought this Gigabyte AND the 9850 there instead of on Newegg... I'd be up and running. (They were only $5.00 more than Newegg on price.)
Keith, let us know how that board overclocks your K8.
When I got my DQ-6 it came out before Phenom so I had a good play with it and it was a mad overclocker with a 6400 in it. In fact it was the best K8 board I ever owned, and I have had a few....
I was getting HTT speeds in excess of 450. Easily....

Thrasher I haven't set up raid on this board, but I imagine it's just the usual. Copy the Raid files from the motherboard disc onto a floppy or usb stick and load it when installing Windows. That should do it.
Just don't select AHCI mode. Set it up as an IDE raid.
