You used over 1.4v Vcore to validate that 4ghz though.
Actually... about 1.38v to get into Windows. I suspsect... my other components were running too hot to hold 4GHz stable. It's time for some cooling... and a new stable PSU.

I would be curious to see if you get 3.8Ghz with a safe voltage.
I think I already posted that a while ago:





3.80GHz and 3.90GHz was child's play for this board... and I suspect that with some better chipset cooling... and some modifications (or a very stable stable PSU), you can get 4GHz quite easily, too.
