Hey Ninjaskija,

Your RAM is 2x2gb sticks? I've had no luck with stability even at stock with my gskill 2x2gb 1066 sticks...I've had the same issues observed by Lestat in this post with my dfi X48 board and e8400 cpu:

If you do get them running stable at a 500fsb, would you post your bios settings? I know it's a different board and different brand of ram, but I think the gskill sticks use powerchips too. Thanks!

I think Praz mentioned some testing with 2x2gb sticks a page or two ago on this thread and I'm eagerly awaiting his findings...

Yes they are 2x2gb, and i was about to say what Praz already did about similarities between DFI P35 and X48 boards.. I'll do some new tests and i'll post the results.

@Praz ..those GSkills u used there are Powerchips?

I have another question for u guys.. How reliable is memtest for windows under Vista 64? because is the only one who gives errors now, prime blend is ok (i stopped it after 7h with no errors)

U have any mem settings that u can share at 500 FSB 1:1 for those? I still have problems stabilize them even after i pushed my NB voltage further...

I had no problem making 1000mhz+ with my OCZ PC2 8000 2X2GB sticks they ran 5.5.5.15.5.54 @ 2.0v with everything else on auto.

Have you tried using a divider other than 1:1 to see if you can get the RAM to run 1000mhz just in case its a 1:1 problem ?

I don't have the 8000's in my DFI P35 atm otherwise I'd check my self.

What program do u use for testing? I never get instability issues in prime blend(10h +) but it always failes in memtest for windows after 1h or so.

another thing... should i consider any specific mem settings for vista 64? or if is stable in xp should be stable in vista to..?
