As far as I remember, the FTW had barbs on the NB-block for optional watercooling?
Or is that only for the 780i FTW ?

There are no barbs for watercooling. The cooling just looks like the 780i one.

Plans are to set up the board after I had dinner, so I will find out about the 2 PCI-E slots soon.

There are a couple of pictures on page 1, so you can see for yourself.

The cooling looks exactly like the 780i one to me.

There is a Nforce 100 chip below the NB cooler too, so chances are, the board really has 2 electrical 16x PCI-E lanes.

awaiting your results, since this is actually an affordable SLI solution for those of us without deep pockets and free samples.

Yes, it is the same, meaning that the EK MCP/SPP should fit fine.

I was busy with work tonight, so I will install the OS, drivers, etc tomorrow. That means I will finally be able to show some results tomorrow or if that fails, on friday. I am sorry for the delay guys, but I am very busy with work atm. :/

That sounds like the 650i, it was an 8/8 and the 680i gave you the 16/16, lets just hope the similarities 650i/750i.......680i/780i doesn't track the same

the mobo seems pretty nice , lets see if performance also good , because im planning sell P5E X38 and keep Evga 750i Sli FTW + 9800GX2 + E8400

Huh? I saw a 44x FSB run in there, no 600FSB. Ram wasn't running 1:1. Need a better review to make a decision on this chipset. Hope Fr3ak can deliver. No pressure

And hopefully with a Quad core as they seem to not overclock as well on the FSB as the duallies... Mine certainly didnt
