Koolance already has a garbage aluminum block made. Dangerden and EK i believe are in the process of designing FC blocks as well.

EDIT: It was innovatek, not Koolance. Sorry for the mistake.

Cool , so these cards are more like a pair of 8800GTS 512 than 9800gtx right (in clocks and performance) ?

cowie - what does yours bench like ?

So this is SLI for non-SLI motherboards , right ? Nvidias way of getting into the Intel powered motherboard sector ? Perfect partner for my Maximus Formula .

Sorry for jumping in but I had tried it with stock air and cold air at that. I only tried up to 1.15 from the stock 1.375 and saw no improvement over stock. Cooling is what really helps these cards.

thanks your just the man i would hope to have answer.
(i was going to ask in your o/c thread but did not know if you wanted to field questions)
thats what i was thinking, because the colder i get it the more higher and stable clocks i can bench at.....was it good for at least 850 and 2200 or higher shaders?

Haha yeah made a mistake 1.1375 for stock and tried to 1.15 but saw no improvement. I have heard and seen water benched to I think 860. I personally run dry ice at 9oo-915 and between 1.3-1.35 vgpu.

well i've got some data to share with u guys this is for 3dmark06 aye.

    -40 degrees cel ln2 tek9 4.0

    w.o mods: 800/2250/1150
    w. mods: 920/linked (haven rammed it since i ran out of ln2)/1200
    1.35Vgpu and 2.35Vmem

@harleybro dosent ur card get the cold throttle issue with dice? since its probably at -60 to -70?

PS. a tip for the guys modding this card. use a sharp screwdriver or something to scrape a little off the pad u wanna solder. there's something like a protective laquer that prevents solder from biting easily. this is for my card at least

Nightraven: I cheat out the cold bug by using only dice. No acetone is added. If I use acetone then I do get the cold bug.

On a side note can anyone figure out the OVP mod on these?

oh man thanks bro for this!

i lost one vgpu mod and one vmem mod on the inside. u know how hard it is just to get it to bite! vmem mod is fine since it's easy to reach but the vgpu.. whoa... thanks bro!

You got a 1.5 card? Is it leadtek? I know most are able to use only 1.35 including myself.

That probably explains all the problems i had trying to run 1.4V on Gigabyte... it idled fine but loading up '06 would kill the system.
