    ==| EVGA 750i SLI FTW |==

Lol why would it be the fastest 2x16 board because EVGA publicity says so ?
Don't think there's much difference between the other boards as the chipset is the same... if you compare all 780i boards there's not much differentiating them clock for clock...

It's nice to see that they took the good NB heatpipe set of the 780i... too bad that crappy cooler is still on it...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

i might sound dumb but oh well

    whats the diff between 750i 780i and 790i ?

why if 750i is good enough would one go with 790i ? ?

i know 790i is DDR3 so thats why so expensive

lets narrow it down then .. why 750i and 780i ?

    i really want to know...

well TRI SLI of the 780i but the 750i has better quality caps with a better Memory controller apparently.. also the 750i is limited with 4 sata ports and no 2 GB lan like the 780i but for the prices it maybe a great board for SLI demands not TRI which many wont use.

Well i think some test will be here soon.

I think the 750i FTW is a good compromise for SLI guys

For the money, this board "appears" sweet.

Anyone knows how the EVGA compare to the asus & msi boards or is this the same deal, all 750i's are equal in OC ability, as w/ the 780i's?

i want to know how this thing compares to lets say an x38 , because its like in the same price range more or less with the dfi dk x38

i mean amd vs intel .. we all know that intel = owning

but this 750i seems to be interesting .. we need a comparison

Should be under Advanced Chipset Features ->System Clocks, then it should says something like "N/2 ratio".

Now that's more what I wanted to see than the publicity... seems good and the 2X PCI16X could make this one a big sella...

Seconded. I just need a new case (for a larger PSU) this board and another 8800gts. Pretty cheap considering what this board can do.

    I like how you think!

    Thanks!

I'm amazed I can even read what you wrote at this point. Studying late sucks!

So maybe I don't get it, but why do people go for the 780i over 750i if they are OCing and not really caring about the SB? Just get a good raid controller.
