@ Robilar: Mine idles at 34c no matter how low I go. For example my o'c 4.05ghz 1.38v idles 34c. My 3.6ghz 1.2v idles 34c. I have non-lapped TRUE. I say just make sure it's mounted solid and you should be good.

@ ovidiu: 10mins means jack IMO. I've ran solid for 45mins and gotten errors after that. I would say IMHO that 2 hours is proof of stability. Anything shorter just doesn't cut it in my book. Post back with a 2 hour stress or longer for stability praise

@ sniggle. That's rock solid stable IMO. What is memory set to? Linked/unlinked? all other settings. I've had a hard time above 1800mhz FSB. Actually I was stable for 10 hours Prime95 @ 1800mhz, 1.375v and when I did orthos I was failing after 45mins same settings. I never did try to get orthos stable I went all the way up to 1.385 or something and just got mad. I am stable now though at 1600mhz @ 1.2v, pretty happy with low setting.

General q: I set Intel speedstep auto and power management in windows to balanced. So multi at idle drops to 6x. Is there a reason why I shouldn't do this? I mean it jumps up with a load. I just figured why not save a bit on energy bill when I'm not playing games or using cpu intensely. The power is there when I need it and it's stable. I'm just wondering why others aren't doing this.
