Thats all nice batches of 3110s. For me most important is......can it passed 5Ghz (with 9X556 fsb) 3ds bench stable?

It will depend on ur ram and mobo's chipset too...

Nope, don't know it yet. I already bootet with fsb 525, but my ram needs high vcore and evil timings for that.

1.168V failed prime blend at about 5 hours. Guess I still have to give it a bit more power

Uhm. Don't know if 5Ghz on air would be that easy. I know for sure that my ram will not do 556 mhz. Highest is 542 @ 2.15V / 6-6-6-25.

So, I'll try ~1.175V or 1.185V prime. Later.
Gonna check max fsb with mobo/ram now.

Another question. I happen to encounter prime simply disappearing, instead of throwing rounding errors on me. Is this intended/normal?
    Also.. I just switched from 25.3 x86 to 25.6 x64.

lol 5 ghz on air if you wanna kill your chip I guess

Concerning prime 25.6 , yes I had same issues sometimes.

Ye, just what I said. 5ghz on air is nothing for me.. not as long as I can't trust my temps

Concerning prime.. that's strange. Although it means this error comes from cpu/ram, right?

Trying prime small fft's on 1.168v now. 40 minutes 0 errors now.
Guess I will let it run about 3-4 hours.
Afterwards I'll try blend again.. if it fails there must be some issues with my memory.

    my Q805 is doing 1.328v @ 4.1Ghz and 1.376v @ 4.2Ghz (orthos stable). I'm really happy with the results. My E8400 needed 1.41v for 4.1Ghz.

Nope, Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro. Not that much better but a hell lot better than stock cooler. Like I stated some posts before.. it is not even getting handwarm.. can't imagine those temps to be real.
Got my Q9450 inside atm and it tells me 82°C. That's ridiculous, I can't even notice the heatsink getting hotter while the fan is blowing.. I just disconnected the fan and the heatsink got pretty warm, so contact seems to be there. Dunno what's up here.

Can anyone run OCCT to confirm stability? OCCT tends to find errors way much quicker than Orthos, from what I've experienced. Since the day I got errors after 12h with Orthos, and same errors occured only 2h after I started up OCCT, I've got unsure about Orthos. I'm aware it's not healthy to rely on one program, therefore I'm asking you kindly.

I could run another OCCT for you.
So.. how long? 1 hour passed flawlessly (see posts above).

My Q805 is stable at 3.6 w/everything on AUTO (P5K-E WiFi). While I can get it to boot at 450x9 (1.34x real) and run my daily apps, browsing and games, it fails ORTHOS within a few minutes. I believe I'm ram limited at this point but am unsure. I have the following sticks available to use:

    Crucial Ballistix 6400 2x1G
    Kingston HyperX 7200 2x1G
    Corsair DHXc5 6400 2x2G

The HyperX are rated for DDR2-900 which should be perfect for this but ORTHOS still errors out. I've upped the NB and SB volts a bit, RAM is at 2.1v 5-5-5-15 and most other settings are what is suggested in the appropriate mobo thread. One symptom I haven't figured out is that the system will sometimes reboot when running ORTHOS, does this mean more volts for the CPU? Anything else I can try?

i was just thinking about that, i'll try it when i get home later. thanks!

what would the performance difference be? 400 vs 333 strap given that the proc will ether be at 4.0 or 3.7'ish.

Priming at 9x450 for 4050Mhz at 1.21v, its only been about 15 min but the temps seem low to me, Realtemp with the adjusted temp option set to 0 is showing a max of 46c on one core, the second sensor seems to be stuck so I am only getting a good reading on one core =(

    Here is a teaser =)

No I have not done anything else other than run 3d mark 06 and I lost 700 points going from a Q6600@3.6 to this X3110 at 4Ghz lol, I am going to push this baby a little harder to see what she can do, I will update this tonight and tomorrow.

Here you go Dumo. 5G 3d no prob, was limited by RAM bc I only had 4Gb kits at that time. Going for some real runs soon now that I have a few 8500 kits again.

Cy4n1d3 - Thanks for posting those screens, that is a hell of a chip, mine wont touch that low voltage at 4G.
