When frequencies/voltages do spin up at load, I am finding that I am actually able to REDUCE my vcore and still run stably! Furthermore, this method has solved an annoying little problem that I have been having. When I manually set my vcore to anything above 1.4v in BIOS, every restart is catastrophic, and forces a CMOS clear. This is not the end of the world with CMOS Reloaded, but definitely a pain in the triple banana. Now restarts are flawless!

THANKS AGAIN!

@cantankerous, Praz, Brother Esau:
would a DFI nF4 BIOS chip (first line 49LF004B) work in a hotflash capacity in place of a T2R BIOS chip (first line 49LF008A)? I have a dead Expert board that I keep around for spare parts. If so, I would be willing to test out the modded BIOS later this week and let you know whether it requires rebuilding the RAID array. I have some important things to do with my computer early this week and can't afford the time to reinstall; after that, it would be no big deal. Let me know.

Edit: the nF4 chip will NOT work - 4GB versus 8GB. Thanks Brother Esau! I will be trying the modded BIOS ca. Thursday and will report back regarding RAID array reconstruction.
I appreciate you doing this. I look forward to your results. Thank you.
