Ok,
I can run stable 450Mhz x 8 or 422Mhz x 9, but I cannot get 450Mhz x 9 to hit 4Ghz. Temps are not an issue, I am water cooling, so my temps get to only 60 degrees under severe Everest load with P95 running also at 3.8Ghz and 1.5 volts. Anyway, I think all I need is a little more voltage, however on my Gigabyte MB (P35-DS3R) if I put the cpu voltage on 1.6 I only actually get 1.5 do to Vdroop. The next step is 1.8, there is no in between, and after Vdroop would probably be 1.7 or 1.75. I think this is too high for this chip, has anyone gone this high on voltage? Any advice on getting it to 4Ghz? By the way, I have added .2 to both MCH and the Northbridge voltages and that doesn't seem to help. My next step is to try and see what my FSB wall is, it may be possible to get to 475Mhz x 8 which would equal 3.8Ghz. Since I have already hit that with 422Mhz x 9, that really isn't much progress. Has anyone hit 500Mhz on this chip?

Thanks,
