Real Temp 1.0 has been released which properly supports these new E8000 processors. I've started a new thread over here:

    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=179044

Comments and general abuse for telling people that their cores are not running as hot as they think they are, are sort of welcome.

so i am trying at 4410 mhz with 1.37-1.38 but i cannot make it stable...
the same issues i have also at 4000 mhz... it is not stable know...
but at 445x9 it runs at the same volts... 1.2...
so until i will find a desend mobo i cannot search for higher stable frequency...
I do not think there is a degration with mobo! That is a surprise to me!
If you want stable OC,vcore and high fsb Abit can do the job, but you know
the drawback with memories.P5k though can do high fsb (vanilla for sure but

there had been degradation reports of p965 mobos in the past.

it's something that can happen BUT it's a bit difficult to achieve

Have you tried lowering vdimm to as low as you can go rather than safe?

I used to have an Commando that did the same thing untill I lowered vdimm

hmm weird, I can do 4.1Ghz at 3.12v but 4.2 seems so hard to get stable without a large jump in vcore, which is annoying.

Hmm, I think you could try 8.5x and a smaller jump in vcore, and see what it can do at 4.2. I have better luck keeping voltage low with 8.5x495 and setting gtls to 59.59.59. It's worth a try.

Hmm thats a bit beyond my basic knowledge, I don't understand GTL at all, and I have an Abit IP35-E which just gives me a few options for CPU GTLREF

It's not that much to tweak. What are the options?

If it's anything like my board, you only have 57/61/63 and 67 for the CPU GTL's. NB GTL's are only 61/67. I think his board may be the same, not sure tho. Kinda lame to only have those options, perhaps in time with newer bios's....

Hmm I see, to start with, I'd try the 61s for each.

ArCElM was looking for help with the GTL's, I got mine worked out for this clock anyhow, 63/63/67. I am completely stable there and not with other combo's.

Yes, I meant that suggestion for him. I suppose it can vary from bios to bios. What's your multiplier and FSB termination setting Big Lar?

Reason I ask is that I was able to get stable at 4.2 - 4.25 using less voltage with 8x and 8.5x and setting gtls manually to about 59, than I could with 9x and gtls a little higher.

My current 24/7 is 8.5 x 500 with 1.3vcore. Similar to yours, but for my setup, I'd need a little more juice at 9x.

I'm at 9x470 right now. VTT is still 1.1v, and NB is 1.35v.
I'm waiting on a better bios to come out, I have run both of the newer 1's for this board, but they are both flakey with 8.5 or 8x multipliers with higher fsb. The original bios is the 1 I am running right now, it is the most stable for me, but does not have the option for 1/2 multi's like the newer 1's do. I am patient...

I run my CPU and NB GTL ref at .59 and.61 on my P5K prem which helps with high fsb.

I have a p5k prem, what do all those options mean exactly? I'm not really pushing this quad because I dunno where to start lol. I came from nforce4 and things were much simpler back then.
