    Nope. I have the same problem with this board and an E8400. The MCH needs high voltage once you go north of 400 FSB. Really sad. I think I'll switch to a DFI board because of that and vdrop.

    Good to know. Mine doesn't like to go beyond 420 FSB on my E6750, .1 voltage increase on MCH. Been thinking about using one of my spare 40mm fans on the NB cooler to help things a bit, but this is a silent build (Scythe Ninja, 120mm Yate Loons @ 5v, etc.), so ...

    ...yeah, if anyone has a Thermalright HR-05 for sale, holla back.

    even if you drop the multiplier, it won't go higher? the OP of this thread hit 500fsb using 7x on a e6300.

    Nope. Just tried to Orthos blend @ 457x7 (3.2 Ghz) and froze within a minute.

    I'm content sitting @ 3.36 Ghz (420x8), but it's an E6750. Was expecting more out of it...


    And my temps are fine, barely break 51C in Orthos blend. VRM temp in Speedfan stays below 50C.
