Sorry for my mistake, didn't really read well it seems
It's impressive OC for that vcore, you're a lucky guy

But this shows again these chips runs very hot clock based more than vlts based as many already confirmed. On first G0 batches, they would run much cooler with frequency increase only. On water, you could get a lot of it

I think it depends how the OS labels them, on mine it generally seems to be 1+3 and 2+4 that are the paired cores.

Probably, it would be odd if each Die yielded a 49*C and 46*C temperature difference between the cores...
Another possibility could be the inner side of the IHS is not making complete contact on both Die, Intel is infamous with IHS quality....

You should really go to water. If you're lucky, it should kick the 4GHz stable and low temps. Nothing guaranty as sometimes you can need just 0.15v for just 50-100MHz on the end of an OC. What you can do is shoot for 4GHz with open window, low temperatures if your country is cold like mine this period. If it is stable, water is worth it. Seeing your temps with an Ulra 120 Extreme at 3.6GHz, 3.8GHz will be hard to get on that cooler unless you live with 70ish degrees

Okay, so let get it straight. The G0 revision is one that ends in SLACR, correct? Anything different from that is NOTa G0 revision, correct? The price at MC is simply too enticing, I just simply can't resist it!!! Quad, here I COME!!!

Wow, we have the exact same batch jcniest5. I just bought mine today from MicroCenter. So far, just a quick OC 3.0GHz on stock volts. Will push it more tomorrow!

To see if good batch, tell me the VID readout you get from Coretemp?

    I have 1.250V - Vid

    And do 450x9 @ 1.4V 24/7 prime stable

But looks like a nice chip. We have quiet near batches. Mine does quiet same performance with a 3.6GHz rock solid at 1.33v, but I need 1.43 to be rock solid at 3.8Ghz even if it SuperPi at only 1.35v at 3.8GHz. Also, those batches run hot. I see you're already at 60°C after just 12mn of Prime 95 (small FFT I guess!). You'll get much hotter when you increase volts to be stable and after 1h of Prime95 small FFT
here we go...14h and still running, good enough? :P

Thats what im trying to tell you, we havent enough data to say oh you have a great OCER or bad OCER just from that batch... way to new for enough of us to give feedback on this batch... Also regarding Axxx or Bxxx its pretty random your results of VID you will get....

In short you wont know how good the chip is until you slap it in your rig and open core temp

No, I'm from Orange County, CA, but MicroCenter had a sale nationwide I guess. Must be really cold in MN so you can overclock real goooood!

Regarding the VID from coretemp for batch L745A793: 1.2125V

I hope this is really really good so I can at least push this to 3.6GHz stable 24/7. I switched out my E6700 for this so it better be good! lol.

Nice OC, in deed. We have quiet close CPUs and OC. Look in the link of my signature. But I need 1.43v real on load though.

The P5K Premium got me that OC also at lowest NB and FSB voltage settings. I only had to increase it a bit since my memory is at 2.1v for same ratio as you (1:1) but 4-4-4-10-4-25-3-3-3 and static read control enabled with booster relaxed to 0. You should try to tighten your timings if your memory can handle it. As for temperatures, you're also at the limits of your CPU, unless you feel confortable with near 70°C like some do...

    hi,

unfornatly i have Team Elite ram (very cheap ram, about 68€ 4gb :p) and not Xtreem series (with micron D9), so i cant tight my timings for >900Mhz. this ram is rated for 5-5-5-15 at 800Mhz, doesnt even boot at that speeds with cl4. i could only change timings to sort of 5-4-4 ou 5-5-4, but i would need more voltage too (i think it not worth a try :/)

regarding the temperatures you´re absolutly right, thats my limit too (60ºC on cores)

After sitting in a box for two weeks, I finally had time to pop in a very promising Q6600 G0 L737B266. After several G0s of varying OC ability, I think I've found the one I'll take to the races.

Great batch and a can-do VID of 1.2375. Even the wafer code, for those who put any stock into that, ends in 100. By all predictive measures, this chip should do well. Stable 4ghz 24/7 on a D.Tek Fuzion / MCR 320 and I'll be happy.

This will be OC'd in a new motherboard as well. My first Q6600 killed my first 680i, and while the second one is holding iti (an L734A to be exact) at 3.6ghz stable at a less-than-steller 1.48v, I don't have much confidence that it'll keep up if I push any higher. I'm pairing this new one with a P7N Diamond. It'll be interesting to say the least... we shall see how she does

Great batch and a can-do VID of 1.2375. Even the wafer code, for those who put any stock into that, ends in 100. By all predictive measures, this chip should do well. Stable 4ghz 24/7 on a D.Tek Fuzion / MCR 320 and I'll be happy.
    I have the same chip!

Those 4500mhz were under water with ice inside, but I should mix it, because temperatures were up to 13-14C, when I started mixing went down to 9-10, then I run out of ice;(
