Does anyone had success with BlackOPS over 530FSB? Got one for short time to play with, unfortunately can't get my E8200 as high as i wanted to. Otherwise with extreme CPU unlocked multis this board is great.

    GREAT!
32M @ >5.9 Ghz is something new, I'm sure this board can handle 6 Ghz, too.
I also agree with Pedro Rocha, thx for posting so much details!
Is there a reason why 8M-clocks are lower than 32M-clocks?

    Team Japan kicking ass.

Foxconn is really hitting the high note pretty consistently. We need an unlocked Woldale version to really explore into 6Ghz.

Any pics of the rig? We love to see how you setup.

As to be expected from fredyama-san! 5900MHz+ 32M shows some serious high speed CPU stability.

You missed the 5939MHz run with Andre's 9650 through 06 cpu test.

    1. No, not yet
    2. Dunno yet, shouldn't be a problem, I had five 8xxx all hit 600+ on 965c2 This x48 foxconn will be a very good mb - DFI reborn
    3. No, why?

Congrats Fredyama, i hope i'll finally meet (all of) you at Cebit this year. My board so far does great on aircooled E6700 B2 chip, got it up to 550MHz FSB, should go close to 590-600MHz on SS cooling with some Vpll playing. This board probably has the best and most stable PWM ever.

    Congrats once again

Another "quick" test results from Team Japan.

Thank you so much Shamino-san for this awesome mobo!

Please don't worry that my results are inferior to fredyama-san's.

Next I will try 3D Bench.....

I'll try some P4 631 and some conroe later. Yes, 965 is very strong with wolfdale, due to loose straps, or whatever pushes FSB that far. But unfortunately 965 is slow, ddr2 only and overclocks ddr2 very weak, doesn't have two PCI-E 16x lanes for crossfire and must me modded to work correctly. BlackOPS doesn't need any mods, X48 have very strong memory controller, it have crossfire and its lot more fun to play with than boring P5B series.
As far as i tested, even with 1.8Vnb and 1.7V5pll doesn't helped on wolfie for blackops. In other hand, it clocks memory on low speeds/tight timings little better than P5K3 Dlx. With finaly BIOS i can't see any board to compete with BlackOPS in overclocking arena. Except maybe OscarWu might do something with DFI. BIOS definitely reminds me of DFI nF4 series, must spend 2 months for working out settings on one ram kit.
Shamino, is there any possibility to integrate memtest in BIOS?

those are all valid points but for low multies FSB is king and most overclockers will never buy X48/QX chips and they will have just as much fun

in terms of performance >> there are some nice registry tweaks you can use to speed it up a lot and make it very competitive indeed (in superpi) >> 965 C2 does have issues with PCI Express frequency but i think better cooling on NB may fix that

i don't know if you know this but high FSB helps a lot with AM3/01/03/05 so with the right CPU and most P5B boards you could have some serious fun and break a single card record or two

I know that high FSB helps, but slow strap is killing all performance. I better have 500x9 with 266strap on X48 then 563x8 with 333strap on 965. I have P5B somewhere lying around, but testing DDR3 on X48 is so much fun indeed.

Interestingly i was getting better results on 400 strap than 333 strap on X48, same FSB too.

vcore Pull now what is that???
vcpu vtt, is that the same as vPPL ? Voltage seems about maximum sane for PPL

ahh oki... Thats very low PLL then ? 1.6v should be about right for quad 45nm ?
