why did you flash bios through the OS? you asking for trouble, I always flash ultility in the bios or from the dos boot disk.

When verify is fail you should not restart, you have to reflash it.

try and recover with crashfree bios utility, read the mainboard manual it has instruction on how to do it. I don't how well it work because i haven't us it before. I wish you luck.
