it will work on any mb with pcie(not just pcie 2.0 but 1.1).
the intenal crossfire allready inside so the driver will do the rest.

Tried it with two 3870 X2 on a P5E64 WS Pro under VISTA 32bit...
CCC does not work and so I can't activate QuadCF...
Same for a collegue @ our forum...

I've tried with 3 cards on X38 mobo and vista... No CF-X is avalivible.
is this suppost to work with 4 cards only?

i didnt had time to test it myself, but here a guide how to install them:
You can't use the installers...well, theoretically with inf modification you could, but my inf modification-fu died a long time once i ceased having an S3 card. What you do is go to the device manager and force install the drivers from there...I installed them as HD3470, as that's a fairly safe bet
not long for the official drivers now... i'll be getting a couple of these cards for quad fire so i'm hoping they are out and in good condition soon....

just install trough device manager , i installed on hd3870X2 as HD3450

has anyone tested one card on these drivers to see if there was a differance to the stock drivers which come with the card...
yesterday the rc1 "worked" , now when trying to install rc1 or rc3, i get the error, that windows could not install those drivers.
