I'm using 1/2" Primoflex, which does work pretty well. As noted elsewhere in the thread, I did already shorten the run by ~2" which helped, but I think going further than that will make it worse. The other option is to make it a lot longer, which I'd like to avoid.
Just an idea (keep in mind I am new to WC) why not maximize the physical distance between the two barbs you are connecting.

Turn the fuzion block 90 Degrees Counter-clockwise and connect the outlet from the fuzion to the the barb on the right of the MCW30 (I am assuming that the MCW30 doesn't have an inlet or outlet as such and either will do).
This should give you enough 'extra' length without making it ridiculously long and avoid your flat spot.

Obviously this might not work due to the layout of the other tubing in your loop.
