It's because o the volts mate. Anything above 1.33v and they heat up like crazy. I have around 66C load @ 1.48v on air only but my VID is higher then yours. At 1.6v i hit it up with some orthos and temps jump straight to 75-83C region.... so you can see how hot these things get when applying serious voltage to them, compared to the Conroes or even the Kentsfields.
Ooh, and by the way, the lower the VID the CPU has (vid shown in coretemp), the higher the temperatures you'll get when giving it some voltage and upping the mhz.
