Mine does that too after bios but I think the 3rd time it booted Or few times I shut it down after the 2nd time it did that and when it fired up it told me overclock settings failed and let me into bios. Did you try hitting the del key the moment you try to fire it up even before video shows up? Or pull all the add on cards usb printer and just use keyboard video. No Lan bare min start up and clear bios first then pull the bat and wait the 15 min. Replace the bat and make sure the clear jumper has been returned to the normal position. then try booting. If none of this helps you will have to ask someone else because I am out of answers then.
good luck

They love to just put the products out and leave the testing to to us. But it's really better that way, I am sure, there's nobody there that has a clue anyway. Not at least if the tech support team is any indicator of the brain power over there.
*lol* I thought I would let stay right where its at for now and do the new LCS and the Yorky at the same time
(and it did eat mine on a spare rig I have)
and it did not work for me. I got a program like it from HP Works in Vista X64 just fine you just need to set your folder views to show hidden sys files so it can copy the bootsector right from a floppy and that worked great.
Luckily I only need AHCI.
