Good question...I know it has one but with these new gen boards I think it was designed differently than older board with their bios chip setup. I'll have to look in to that.

I lost a Ethernet controller on my old A8R32-MVP while overclocking, and it never came back.

Here's another weird one for you guys...my Motherboard temp sensor seems to have went nuts lately. Sometimes it works and sometimes, it'll read crazy, like 392c, or -65c. I wouldn't worry about it too much, but I think Chassis 1 and 2 fan headers depend on that reading for Q-Fan control.

I just cleaned up the base and the heatpipe gunk and reused the factory Asus SB heatsink, with the ROG cap removed, and a 40mm Mini Kaze fan screwed down on it. The SB is rock solid at 36c in 21c ambient, and there's no clearance issues with my two 3870's.

    It is exactly 1 1/4" by 1 1/4".

How many mm is that 31.75?

My bet is you are 100% correct Pete.

One positive thing about my build comming togeather so slow is that it will be putting me into the Feb - March timeframe when I will have a working system. That is when some new exciting GPU's will be hitting the market. I still have my heart set on the best Nvidia 9 series card I can get my hands on at the time. I still am willing to let my system choke on my 8600GT for a week or two if I must. I hear the 9800GTX will be around 549$>649$. That is what I am slated for in my mind unless ATI has a faster single card option out at that time. My money says they won't?

I should have my system all greased up and ready for the new Feb - March tech's release, and will order as soon as I can find one, even if I have to pay $100 bucks above what I should to get it. I figure I have close to 5 grand tied up in my system, what's another hundred bucks to get a new Bad Boy GPU extra fast....

I should be able to produce some good numbers for the other members check out around that time. I am starting to believe that my system will be a runner too, so I just wanted to be a sport and put y'all on notice!

She's dead today, but soon hope to be saying 'catch me if you can!!'

I know you can't trust pre release numbers, but this post in the video section has my sparked imagination again on how a GPU with these specs might performe?
You will have to forgive me.. I still need to find something to fill my head with happy thoughts!

I just came to the harsh realization that today is a holiday. (It's one my normal day's off, so I wasen't even thinking holiday, just weekend to me)

When Eddy sends me my tracking number today, the Post Office won't be open. Go figure...

There probably isn't an online web page that will let you put a tracking number in for registered priority mail is there?

I have a woody to see where in the world this tracked package will be. It has 31 days under it's belt now, and really hope it covered some searous ground.

I found a site that gave me more info:

    Label/Receipt Number: RR77 3240 023S I
    Detailed Results:

Notice Left, January 02, 2008, 2:43 pm, SUNBURY, OH 43074
Arrival at Unit, January 02, 2008, 7:24 am, SUNBURY, OH 43074
    Origin Post is Preparing Shipment

I can assure you I received no notice on Jan 02. I hope to God they havent sent it back to EK.

I think tracking numbers should start to be sent out with the EK orders. Priority mail does not leave notices, at least not at my house....
We could watch for them comming in. And to think I called on the 8th, and my post office assured me I had no registered packages.

Don't I get a 2nd and 3rd notice? That could be a good sign it is still here....

The best bet is to call the post office with the tracking number in hand and a kick in the ass waiting for the idiot.

I got a similar thing when I'm awaiting the Swissflow SF800 package from the Netherlands. I got a similar tracking number but no notice left till they sent me a FINAL PICKUP NOTICE with 5 days left + first notice and second notice all together !!!

Holiday today... not open I think.

I just called Priority mail. The lady told me it is still at my local post office, and assured me that their system would show if they would have sent it back to EK. She also told me that I would receive a second notice before that would occur, which she also concurs that I haven't. She told me due to me not receiving my notice I would just need to bring some ID with me to the post office to get it!!

I think it is 8 miles from my house waiting for me to pick up!!!!!

I wonder if the building is open today, but just no mail delivery?

Update: I called them and the phone just rings....
Looks like tuesday is EK day... I cant believe it...
I think it is really here..

We hate it when a package is sitting close to your house for weeks and it's holiday today...

Great to hear this and I agree EK must send the tracking number with all orders to avoid lots of hair pulling and fingers biting.

Is there a big penalty for breaking and entering a US Post office? Just considering my options for today..

    I better lay low then...

I think I'll just ride the 24 hours out.

FYI - I did send Eddy a thank you, and let him know about my situaction. I did recomend that tracking numbers should be sent with all orders to avoid some frustration at both ends.

Man, I hope it didn't get delievered to the wrong house. I had $2000 worth of computer stuff delievered to two houses up the road. The UPS guy is lucky they were honest people, because when I called UPS, they said the next step would be to have the driver show me where the drop was made. Next step after that would be to block the credit card transaction. I was tracking my stuff every day 2x a day. When it said delivered and it wasn't here, I was in pisst. I hope this doesn't happen to you...
