I dont know if people dont understand it yet. Or maybe do not wish to understand it. Its been said 1000s of times.

Let me bend it in neon this time. You will NOT, NEVER, EVER get an x86 license by buying VIA or AMD. It will be LOST and GONE. No nobody can change that.

So in short, buying VIA would give you...nothing. Buying AMD would give you a struggling GPU business.

The CPU parts of VIA and AMD would be trash and gone!

nVidia buying AMD would be like buying sand in Sahara. Pretty darn useless and dumb.

How many times do you need to be told that the U.S. government, not to mention the EU is going to allow Intel to have a monopoly on the X86 license? It's just not going to happen. They'll be forced to renew the agreement with a probable suitor or come to some type of financial agreement.
