Well at least $450 is a decent pricetag, which probably come from:
8800GT - $249
(+$100)
8800GTS - $349
(+$100)
9800GX2 - $449
I had guessed it could well have gotten a MSRP of $499 too since compared to a 8800GTS (G92) it looks a bit better bang for the buck card as the GTS is only barely faster than GT by roughly 15% or so, making it also barely faster than a 8800GTX usually but is at least 10% or a bit more slower than 8800 Ultra. Provided the 30% faster than 8800 Ultra claim is true it would be a good 40%+ faster than the GTS and 65%+ faster than a 8800GT which is a good thing even when comparing 8800GT SLI which would be slightly expensier too and taking into account GX2 is only "one card solution" (physically, as you don't really get 2 separated cards). That remains to be seen if the 30% over Ultra claim is actually true and I'm pretty sure it won't be true for every title.
