No I never heard about that.

    Almost ready with everything now.

    Selfmade-Shroud

Multiswitch and Aquaero (Aquacomputer Equipment) worked into the Lian Li-Original Front Panels:

The Rad mounted under the top:

    The other Rad like this:

    The Swiftech reservoirs:

The cooling side of the case:
    (some fans are missing yet)

    and that´s the hardwareside:

Just took AC-Ryan Meshpanel for the top:

    Stealthmod for the DVD:

Started to make a window for the coolingside

That is all for the first. Soon I will finish that all.

    cheers guys!

Wow, you've put a lot of work into that

The bracket for the top rad is an excellent idea, and I like the front panel mods too. Can't wait to see it finished.

Thanx! I really worked with lots of love for detail. I cannot create anything like the murderbox, but I do my very best, to get a unique stylish case. I think, the 343b is not an everyday case like Tenjin07. Except the murderbox no Tenjin could give me anything anymore. They are everywhere now, so it is not a unique one anymore. Lian Li rulez!

I guess, that I will use hot melt adhesive for that little window.

    peebee,

I apologize profusely for not getting back to you on the "freeze" trick for the Alphacool reservoir. I totally forgot about it.

As so eloquently mentioned by pie_uk :

"fill the cap up with your choice of coolant and put it in the freezer for about 5 mins then once in a solid state screw it back onto your res tank and wait for it to turn back to liquid"

"you freeze it because its impossible to fill right to the top without the big air bubble inside the cap. hence if you fill the cap up (frozen) its a hell lot easier to then put on and wait for it to melt"

Hope that this is helpful. I think it works well.

I have 3 girlfriends, my job, my car, and my computer. My job is the rich girl, just spend some time with her and she will provide a supply of cash. My car is the material girl, a lot of money from the rich girl goes on her. Have to be careful to keep her happy. My computer is the faithful girlfriend, I dont need to spend much on her but she is still good to me.

Guess the tube must collapse a tiny bit, to compensate as volume reduces when the frozen liquid melts.

3M double sided industrial tape is great for mounting mesh and plexi. Virtually invisible. PerfPC stock it.

    Great so far, peebee!

Thanks. I also thought about double sided tape. Even if it would be visible, it wouldn´t be a prob. It is only used inside, so nobody would ever see that.

We have a tape supplier called "tesa" here in Germany. They also make doublesided tapes. 3m is also known here. I gues I will figure it out before I take the hot melt adhesive.

At least I have to wait until wednesday/thursday. I gave the plexi pieces to a fellow. He will add some mirror foil/leaf. Then you can only take a look inside, when light is turned on inside of the case.

Then I still have to order some LED-Strips.

    Thank you guys!

Now I received my mirror taped Plexi back:

    Looks good in the mod

If I have my LEDs, I can demonstrate, that it is getting a simple window, when lights are turned on in the case.

Beautiful rig! Personally I'd use metall hose clamps, the ones you are using looks a bit weak.

    Thank you guys.
@disrupt: It is an Aquaero from www.aquacomputer.de and it controls my whole Loop with Fans and temps.

You can put any colour by using a foil with the desired colour, because it is a vfd.

@Junkee: Yes, I just touch the panel at the spot where the Button was.

    do they ship internationally?

i don't understand the foil thing...

i can't find any black alu brushed ones like yours...

    (only silver ones)

edit: nevermind you have to purchase the black face place as an extra?

You can buy black faceplates extra, but mines are the original Lian Li Front panels. You can´t buy it like this. I modded them (cut the wholes by myself). The silver plate is included. I took the silver one and layed it onto the Lian Li panels to copy it onto them.

    See here:

I did the same with the aquaero, but I did not take pictures of that anymore.

I don´t know if they ship internationally, but I guess they do! Should I ask something for ya? Internationally on request is mentioned there!

Regarding the "foilthing" What do you call it? It is a kind of Coloured plastic, where you can look through like the glasses for 3D-cinema. Also Spots in Discotheques have them.

    like sold here: http://cgi.ebay.de/Farbfolien-Farbfi...QQcmdZViewItem

Soooooo! My left window is cut´n done. See yourself!

Here you can see, that light comes through the fan in the back into the case and the mirror gets already slightly clear. If the lighting is installed and turned on, this effekt will turn the mirror into a usual clear window
