spi1m @ 22.453s It froze after the run so I had to take a picture. It's on a friend's camera, I'll try to get it today

I was very close to the coldbug limit, so I don't think I can push it too much more. It didn't like more volts either, but I'll try it more later. Need to get some 32m runs etc first (hwboints, you know ). It was very hot, idle to laod difference was more than 20c! I guess I have to remove the ihs to get lower load temps.

I got it fro mebay a while ago, stepping is CAB1E 0622FPMW.

When I bench I don't bench 100% outside, I bench in the garage, so even if it's -5c outside in the middle of the night, it's not below 0 where the pc is. But does it matter that much? I mean, because of the neoprene, the ambient temp shouldn't change the pot temp.

Speaking of 156's, looks like I'm going to get my chip fairly soon (and a new Venus mobo)

I got my 152 (with the same stepping, except for 152 is CAB1E and 156 is AAB1E) to 3730mhz on 1.52v / -5c (ITE temp). Looking good! Another 4 ghz chip, perhaps?

I won't argue with your dice knowledge, as I only bench in that damn garage. And on a LANparty once, but it was with a different pot so I can't compare.

Hmm guys, what's the worth of an Opty 185 that can do 3 Ghz @ stock volts (1,3v) ? Dunno about higher ocing capabilities since I'm limited by air cooling.
I might plan to sell mine when the Intel 8x00 cpus are out

My whole CPU collection (this picture is a few weeks old, but I have the same number of chips today ), a photo of 1.55v * 136% on a clawhammer, my Opty 154 spi1m time (should've been a little bit better at that speed...). Dunno why we lit the pot on fire, but anyway...

New FX-53 clawhammer world record under LN2: 3892.59 mhz.

New 3800+ newcastle world record under LN2: 3115.32 mhz

The 3800+ died during changing the LN2-pot He was with out HS so a small piece of the DIE broke of....the cpu would go around 3.25 mhz if it did not die.

I always thought that one would be impossible to get But hey! After that Opty 154 the impossible is possible I guess

I guess the FX55 WR shouldn't be too hard either, if that old fart of a cpu can get close to 3.9

I made an offer of $87.50 for it, which was not accepted. I didn't find out immediately because I was just leaving. It ended while I was on the bus back home from the train station

but $100 is ALOT for such an old chip. And AZ steppings aren't the best clawhammers as well. But I wonder how much cache that 3600+ had... The 200 PR rating difference between it and a 3800+ can't be the HTT link, as it's only "worth" 100 points.

I sell the ones I get that aren't even close to the WR, the good ones will be mine forever

I sold 6-7 CPUs the last month, and maybe I sell 3-4 the next couple of days, some people were interested. I want to buy a DFI 790FX mobo and a new PSU, so I need to get rid of some stuff just to get some cash.

However, if I don't need cash - then I don't usually sell CPUs, either. Unless someone wants to pay more than they're worth

Why are you selling btw? Maybe I want some Send me a list of steppings etc of the stuff you sell and I'll let you know.
