I can tell you that you will be at the mercy of the FSB wall of the Quad CPU. I have tried 1 Q6600 and 1 x3210, both G0. The Q6600 has a FSB wall of 480 and the x3210 is around 485, depending on how much vcore you want to apply. Increasing CPU PLL and NB vcore doesn't do much with quads except increase the stress on the board. I can get the Q6600 to run around 450FSB with the 9x multi but it is not prime95 stable. Hell, it isn't even 32M Pi stable. But I am not done trying yet. These are just my initial findings. I am sure the QX9650 will work better than the 2 I mentioned but I certainly am not going to spend $1000 to find out.
