yea basiclly. i stick ducting out my window. its colder then 0c outside so i strap a 200cfm fan to it, and bam instant coldness. room gets freezing but hey it works.. i am prolly gonna toss my chiller on the card to see what she can do with -20c temps.

    I m curious,

All the people who reached 900mhz or 885mhz after the bios update. What chipset motherboard do you have, running PCi Express 1.0 or 2.0.

I have the ABiT QuadGT 965 chipset and still can't get over 860mhz.

I don't think it's related to the motherboard chip, right?

I don't know if PCi Express 2.0 makes a difference on the OC results. I try to figure that out.

You can use ATiWinFlash, right click on its folder, then open a CMD window, write the following after putting the flash file inside that folder ...

    atiwinflash -f -p 0 <filename>

wait for like 1 minute, nothing will happen after you press enter by the way, just wait, then after a long boring time a popup will appear, press ok then restart.

Or what BIOS are you guys using to get around 900Mhz stable.

I can't remember correctly, is there any BIOS with low idle vcore?

Friends shouldn't let friends use Windows 7 until Microsoft fixes Windows Explorer (link)

I spend 2 night with my 3870's in CF right now... They scale nice, but overclocking in CF with rivatuner is quite a PITA.

    I stopped @ 891 / 1332 with gave me 23202 @ '06
Max memspeed was 1366mhz with 800mhz on the core.... not bad at al.

I going to test the cards one by one tonight, i'll keep you guys updated

I don't know saaya, I barley watch temps... just bech till they freeze.

Right now 891 / 1332 appears to be the best, I tried 918 / 1305, but it freezes on firefly.

It gets mildly warm in my case with no heatsinks and 2 yates on the side panel. not close to scolding hot or anything, but it's noticable.
