PLS NOTE that this is due to the southbridge not being connected to the heatsink only...temps fare 1c or less without SB part of stock cooling, however this requires much more airflow than the Tt ES2 does.

The thermalright unit's old mounting would not let me use it on this board. I see that the new unit's(IFX) mounting system has changed, so maybe it will work...
That's too bad about the HR-05 mounting. I've found TR's mounting mechanism is rather cheesy and allows the heatsink to shift around too much. This is where I prefer the TT ES2. I really like that the nb+sb heatsink assembly can be removed as a separate unit on the Max. It will allow me to use the ES II on the nb (after removing the "ring" sponge) and an Evercool EC-VC-RE on the sb.
