You can change the setting on you receiver to play through all speakers while only getting 2.1 from the Card. Just set the receiver to any of its surround modes. This will Matrix or Spead the sound to the other speakers. It works for me. But, I personally like 2.1 for Music listening but Surround for play-alones with my Bass

I'm going to try that now, thanks. Just getting started with this stuff, only got it hooked up tonight!

EDIT: Figured it out finally, had to switch to 48khz output. Now it's working beautifully.
