Eva, it is looking like your 9650 may in fact be on the slow side of average. Also, I've never had any luck with gigabyte anything. More power to you. Maybe you should consider my PM if that is possible. I alos find it rather interesting that the few 9770 es's that are around don't really seem any better than the 9650 es's, and in fact some seem worse. I think in this case the 9650 es's were really the top pick of what Intel can dfo with this process at the moment whereas the qx6850 es's ended up being just about the same as the retails.
