Right now i have to disagree with almost everyone in this thread. I have had nothing but trouble with my Striker. I've tried almost every QDR-value i can think of but nothing seems to work. Or maybe i shouldn't say "nothing" though I'm currently running it at 3Ghz, 9x333, and it works very good but I would like to get a bit higher than this. If i set my Vcore to Auto and run the standard frequncies it shows about 1.21V in BIOS. Overclocked to 3Ghz i set the Vcore manually to 1.275V and it's really stable IF i only use 2x1gb sticks, if i use all my sticks, 4x1gb, it will freeze sooner or later. I'm going to try with 4 sticks later and then raise the volts on the memories. So, do you guys have any idea on what kind of frequency i could try with to get to about 3.6Ghz give or take? Have tried all the settings listed in this thread (QDR: 1700, 1712, 1720 and so on) with no success, therefore i would be greatful for help.
My setup:
Asus Striker Extreme BIOS 1303 Revision A2 (I think)
Q6600 2.4 Ghz G0 @ 3Ghz 9x333 1.275V
2x1gb DDR2 800 Mhz Corsair or 4x1gb
Using a well ventilated Antec P190 and a Thermalright SI-128 with a Noctua 120mm fan so the temperatures won't be a problem.
You have to excuse my bad English.
