Striker pwns EVGA with Q6600 G0

Currently I'm running 3Ghz with a Vcore on 1.275V. Using a Asus striker extreme with a nforce 680i chipset. I do not think that heat is a problem at this low overclock. Got a steady temperature under full load. Have tried almost every Vcore value between 1.275V-1.5V. I may need to raise the other voltages too but I don't know exactly how much to raise them, have been experimenting with no luck at all.

hummm weird :S try linflas magic numer worked to post on me at 3.6 but was way too hot.
Also just for you to know, try to touch with your hand to the MB pipe , is it hot ?



Also howard : i've been working on that,
I putted way too much artic silver 5 before on my Heat sink....
i've removed it , and putted only a small bit, (was not enought) i've putted a bit more now. And the cooling is superb now !
while doing crounch it stay at 55 , MAX 60C, AVG 55C.
(my case is open with a fan blowing inside)

So my next step if everything work flawlessly will be to have a fun to blow at the North Bride, (will try to fit one somehow). and if it do work then that' it
if not, then I will check out with the part you suggested me and will surely go with it thank for the help everyone i'm really happy

hummm hard hard crashed :S reboot wasn't working even power-up down ....
I needed to remove the power card to be able to restart :S (PSU starting to die ? :S)
anyway , trying another way....

just wondering : QUESTION: ... if I put instead the multiplyer to 9 , will it use less the northbridge ? (just curious) (lowering also the fsb , so having at the end same frequency)
