    Hey m8!

I think you either want to have the rad up there on top of the case or have the little 120mm rad hooked in the back of the case. You make 2 holes for the tubing using a 1" hole saw and your good to go!

When you can't have everything internal, external is the way to go. It still is going to be more easy to mount the rad back there and make 2 small holes instead of one big on top of the case, right?

Put the fan on the outside of the case and the rad on the inside, screw through the fan holes of the case, should hold the two together and give you about 25 more mm to work with

Doesn't really work. There's a recess the fan mounts in.

Its outside rear, top, inside side or in side panel with liberal tubing, or underneath somewhere.
I've lost track of where all your bits are. Have to look back a bit before suggesting anything.

Yeah I see, he wouldn't be able to put on his case door.. hmm...

Looks like you'll have to drill yourself a 120mm hole somwhere...

Well, it can be done. Thats why I mentioned liberal amounts of tube. You need the rad loop sections long enough to lift the panel out and sideways. I did it with a V1000 and MCR220.
Its not a great solution, though.

Think you might be right about a hole though.

I Think i will cut a hole at the top of the case... just like dark prodigy did and mount it next to my dvd drive.

Any info on the procedure of cutting my case to accomadate the rad??
I will use my jigsaw for the cut...but i mean what will use to sketch out the hole??? rad grill?

If you have the radgrill, use it for the outline but then you will probably see the edge thru the grill. The best way would be to outline the contour, offset 1/8" outward and cut there. When the grill is installed, you will not see the edge unless you see from a certain angle.

I used the grill to mark out my cuts after laying masking tape over the area. Then neatened up with a 6" half round bastard file.
Gotta strip all the electronics from the case though. Al dust and swarf can do some real damage.
Cover the whole top with tape and measure out everything in pencil. Measure twice cut once.

You can do this without a fan grill if you get the exact measures for the radiator. Thermochill provided a pdf with all the measures you need and that's the way I'm going to do since I will not order a grill before a few weeks (not a lot of money, thank you xmas shopping and I'm waiting for welshtom to do a special project to save on shipping).

Just the fan holes is 105mm between centers so it's a easy way to start off then cut arond.

Black acetal all the way It would also be more robust and less risk of cracking (sorry for being a bit paranoid :p).

I'm lucky to have both tops when I bought my FC8800 GTS so I can try it but for 20$, it's worth getting the acetal version.

Hmmmm....I've got the acetal EK FC 8800GTX block, and would prefer the acrylic one. We could trade, but I won't be home for about 10 days to ship it to you . (I've actually got a spare one ... never been used, as I haven't hooked up my second card).
