I see they seem to have fit over the stock memory heatsinks without too much of a problem. Right?

Thx for the response Purecain how about at lower res is it then possible to put everything on Vhigh?

I'm having problem running Crysis demo in CF mode under Vista x32... Gameplay is slower than on 1 card??

Is demo of Crysis working with multi-GPU setups??

PS. Tried Cat. 7.11beta known as Crysis hotfix..

PS.2 Ocing CF is such a fun now! Easy and you can set different clocks on cards!

thx for the reply lightman , appreciate it

    and how does 16x +4x 3850 cross fire sounds? I am only running at 1280 x 960

so basically 256mb will be enough

    still , changing a mobo and buying 2 x3850

I'll just get single 8800gt then

    with this review.

    3850 CF with q9650 @ 4G on 8x + 8x blitz extreme scored 18947

    so I am at 3.6G C2d and maybe ill get X38 which runs @ 16x + 16x

hoping that I can get around 18K CF

BTW will 650W PSU enough for 3850 CF?

I don't care enough about 3DMark benches... real and stunning gaming results i want to see.
And for superb and fluid Crysis 1600/1200 @ ultramax i'm afraid 3870CF isn't enough, you'd need 4 of these, or two of the upcoming X2's...?

Last game i bought was Stalker, runs VERY fine on my X1900XT512. For my upgrade Q1 2008 i'd like to be comfortably prepared for all these new heavy DX10 games.

    Not going to happen.

    Why?

Do you remember DX9? Far Cry, Half-Life 2 and Doom 3 ushered in the dawn of the DX9 age and at the time the best we had was FX5900 / 9800 series. We didn't have real capable cards for early DX9 until the X800 / 6800 series.

Gotta wait until the true next-gen high end comes.
